The newest installment in the “Komíny Series,” a growing body of work that investigates themes of place and identity through the act of stacking firewood and inserting meaningful objects directly into the stacks. The embedded artifacts range from architectural details, to books, to tractors, signifying different places, meanings and histories depending on the chosen objects and stack locations. Tremendous? observes the spectacle in Washington D.C.
